Maria Jimenez, MPH, is a Senior Project Management Specialist at RTI-HS. She has more than 15 years of experience in a variety of project management, portfolio management, and project-related support roles and several years of experience in managing clinical trials focused on operational management and governance related to the acquisition and analysis of large clinical registries and data sets for the conduct of health services research and health outcomes research. She has experience in various therapeutic areas including oncology, cardiovascular, anesthesiology, and physical therapy, as well as several areas of perioperative research, including pain, anemia, and diabetes.

In her role at RTI-HS, Ms. Jimenez supports the day-to-day functions of project teams, including ethics and regulatory submission management, timeline tracking, budget management and invoicing, quality checking and document tracking, meeting management, and proposal development. She provides strategic and operational support related to program planning, monitoring, reporting, and compliance with internal and client policies and best practices. She also manages project shared drives to ensure accurate and compliant record-keeping and monitors projects abstracts, briefs, and presentations in corporate online systems. Ms. Jimenez proactively recommends improvements to standard practices and processes and is bilingual, fluent in Spanish, and a certified medical interpreter.
