Elizabeth Esterberg, MS, is a Senior Research Health Economist at RTI-HS. Prior to joining RTI-HS, Ms. Esterberg worked for the National Healthcare Quality and Affordability Analytics group at Kaiser Permanente, the Center for Health Research at Kaiser Permanente, and at the F.I. Proctor Foundation at UCSF. She has extensive experience in clinical research and data management using electronic medical record data as well as administrative health care claims, particularly as it relates to comparative effectiveness and health resource utilization research. Ms. Esterberg has conducted research in a variety of areas, including ocular inflammatory diseases, dental caries, hypertension, pediatric risk stratification, joint replacement, multiple sclerosis, acute gastroenteritis, norovirus, and Lynch syndrome.
Ms. Esterberg has coauthored research published in a variety of peer-reviewed journals, including JAMA Ophthalmology, Ophthalmology, American Journal of Ophthalmology, Ocular Immunology and Inflammation, BMC Genomics, Familial Cancer, Cancer, The Permanente Journal, and Community Dentistry and Oral Epidemiology.
