Susan Martin has more than 30 years of experience in the health care sector.  She specializes in the development and evaluation of clinical outcome assessments and the design and conduct of in-trial interviews. Her work has involved a wide range of therapeutic areas including dermatology, neurology, urology, gastroenterology, oncology, cardiovascular disease, women’s health, diabetes, respiratory, obesity, and chronic pain. Ms. Martin has extensive experience in leading qualitative research with patients, both adult and pediatric, caregivers, and clinicians. She routinely develops briefing documents, including dossiers, and supports clients through negotiations with the Food and Drug Administration’s Division of Clinical Outcomes Assessment and various medical reviewing divisions. She has authored numerous manuscripts and scientific presentations and also serves as a peer-reviewer for several scientific journals.  Before joining RTI-HS, Ms. Martin held various posts at Pfizer, Parke-Davis, Henry Ford Health System, Burroughs Wellcome, and the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control
