Marci Clark, PharmD, is a Director of Patient-Centered Outcomes Assessment at RTI-HS. Dr. Clark is an established scientist with more than 17 years of experience in the field of health outcomes research and clinical outcomes assessment. Dr. Clark joined RTI-HS after 7 years of working in clinical drug development and global health outcomes research at Pfizer. Dr. Clark has expertise in the evaluation, selection, development, and validation of patient-reported outcome (PRO) measures, specifically assessment of disease symptoms, treatment satisfaction, health-related quality of life and inhaler device preference. She is also skilled at developing evidence dossiers and briefing books to support product labeling based on PRO endpoints consistent with the Food and Drug Administration PRO guidance. Over the course of her career, Dr. Clark has worked in several common and rare disease areas, including respiratory, dermatology, oncology, osteoarthritis, women's health, diabetes, insomnia, Parkinson's disease, stuttering, Cushing's disease, mucopolysaccharidosis IIIA (Sanfilippo Syndrome Type A), and hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia. She has built strong positive relationships with key clinical experts and instrument developers in several therapeutic areas. Dr. Clark has presented research at both clinical and outcomes research-related national meetings and has co-authored several publications summarizing PRO label claims achieved for drug products approved in the United States and the European Union.
