Michaela Lunan has over 4 years of experience in conducting and leading systematic and targeted literature reviews within a range of therapeutic areas including dermatology, oncology, viral diseases, haematology, nephrology, and muscular dystrophy. Dr. Lunan has expertise in developing search strategies; conducting searches in various medical databases; performing grey literature searches; and quantitatively and qualitatively reporting results. She also has experience in the project management of systematic literature reviews. Prior to working at RTI-HS, Dr. Lunan worked at Manchester Metropolitan University as a Research Associate for the Department of Languages, Information and Communications. In her PhD, entitled, “The Dynamics of Nurse Interaction: A Comparison of Speech with Older and Younger Patients,” Dr. Lunan qualitatively analysed the language of nurses and their patients in GP practices in Northwest England.
