Phani Kumar Chintakayala, PhD, is a Research Economist in the Health Preference Assessment group, based in RTI-HS's Manchester office in the United Kingdom. He has over 16 years of professional and academic cross-disciplinary research experience in translating research questions into qualitative and/or quantitative research plans, preparation of questionnaires, design of choice experiments, executing fieldwork, data collection and processing, developing analysis plans, modelling data, drawing insights from research data, forecasting, and reporting. He has extensively applied discrete-choice methods in over 80 projects across a wide range of sectors such as transport (air, rail, road, and water), energy, insurance/banking, water, environment, marketing, health, and food, and contributed to several public-facing schemes and policies. He has disseminated research outputs through various platforms such as seminars, guest lectures, conferences, and journals.
