Rachel Weinrib is a Research Epidemiologist/Project Manager within the Epidemiology Research Group at RTI-HS. Ms. Weinrib completed a Master’s in Public Health degree with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at UC Berkeley. She has over 11 years of experience in health research in a coordination and management role, including over 6 years of experience in rgulatory pharmacoepidemiology studies. Her experience in project management includes team coordination and resource/budget management, cross-institution collaboration, timelines and benchmarks, data quality control and documentation, and client and subcontractor coordination. Her research experience spans a diverse variety of topic areas, from pharmacoepidemiology database projects in Europe to multisite clinical trials to qualitative and mixed-methods projects based in sub-Saharan Africa. She has extensive experience coordinating multinational study teams and expertise in reproductive health epidemiology, drug utilization studies, vaccine safety, and external comparator methodology. Prior to joining RTI-HS, Ms. Weinrib’s previous roles included coordinating mixed-methods acceptability studies of biomedical HIV prevention products implemented in several African countries, and managing a multisite comparative effectiveness trial for ocular uveitis treatment.
