Zinan Yi, PhD, is a Senior Research Health Economist at RTI-HS. Dr. Yi received her PhD in Operations Research from North Carolina State University, MSc in Probability and Statistics from Fudan University, and BSc in Information and Computing Science from Beijing Jiaotong University. During her PhD study, she worked on extensive health care projects applying a variety of operations research methods, including mathematical models, statistical analysis, and simulation, to develop models and analyses in the areas of liver transplant, smoking cessation, etc. Dr. Yi also has broad experience in analyzing large national level surveys/data sets such as United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) data sets and Tobacco Usage Supplement to Current Population Survey (TUS-CPS) longitudinal data sets. Her role at RTI-HS includes developing cost-effectiveness, cost-utility, and budget-impact models in numerous therapeutic areas, conducting literature reviews, and writing abstracts and manuscripts.
