Whitney Krueger, PhD, is a Research Epidemiologist at RTI-HS. Dr. Krueger has over 10 years of research experience in academia and within federal government working as an infectious disease epidemiologist and study coordinator. Dr. Krueger has coordinated multiyear, multicenter, international project teams with external investigators and has led efforts in proposal development, study design and methodology, questionnaire design, human subject and animal use compliance, study execution, participant recruitment/enrollment, database management, statistical analyses and interpretations, and reporting. Prior to joining RTI-HS, Dr. Krueger designed, conducted, and/or led 20 research projects in 10 countries using the One Health multidisciplinary approach of working across human, animal, and environmental health disciplines to address complex health issues. She has investigated environmental persistence, routes of transmission, and population burden of infectious diseases to identify personal, community, and environmental risk factors, guide health interventions and influence evidence-based policy decisions.
