Jia Ma is a Research Psychometrician in the Patient-Centered Outcomes Assessment group at RTI-HS where she works on psychometric evaluations of clinical outcome assessments (COAs). Ms. Ma received her Ph.D. training in psychometrics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in measurement and quantitative methods and Master’s degree in physical science from Emporia State University. Prior to joining RTI-HS, Ms. Ma worked as a data analyst at the Center for Outreach of Alzheimer's, Aging, and Community Health at North Carolina A&T State University, where she leaded quantitative research and data analysis in public health and health education projects. She has also served as an intern psychometrician at the NC Department of Public Instruction, conducting psychometric and statistical analyses on large scale, state-level assessments.
