Christina Slota, PhD RN, is a Director in the Patient-Centered Outcomes Assessment group at RTI-HS. Dr. Slota’s experience in patient-reported outcome (PRO) research includes conducting cognitive interviews and developing, evaluating, and validating questionnaires for use in clinical trials to support labeling claims. Dr. Slota has experience in utilizing quantitative and qualitative methodologies, data collection and management, developing study protocols, and tasks associated with clinical trial coordination. She has experience in a wide range of therapeutic areas and has worked with patients of all ages and family caregivers. Some of her recent work has been published in Brain Behavior and Immunity, Molecular Genetics & Genomic Medicine, and BMC Palliative Care.

Prior to her role at RTI-HS, Dr. Slota was a nurse research specialist at the National Institutes of Health, working with both the Translational Science Center and Child Health and Development Institute to incorporate PROs into natural history studies and clinical trials for rare and neglected diseases.
