Dr. Catherine Gupta is a Research Scientist in the Patient-Centered Outcomes Assessment group at RTI- HS. Dr. Gupta’s research expertise includes the conduct of qualitative research activities (i.e., concept elicitation and cognitive interviews as well as focus groups) across a range of populations to inform questionnaire development and evaluation. She has extensive experience in the development and execution of both qualitative and quantitative study protocols, data collection and management, and evaluating programs and interventions in clinical settings. She has published recent research related to intervention development, patient-provider communication, and medication adherence in Medical Care, Optometry & Vision Science, and Health Education Research.
Prior to joining RTI- HS, Dr. Gupta was a health communication research scientist at the Center for Communication Sciences at RTI International, working in the development and evaluation of interventions, programs, and campaigns for federal and nonfederal clients including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).
