Anna Pierce is an Associate Research Economist in the Health Preference Assessment group at RTI-HS, where she assists in creating surveys and analyzing data in stated-preference studies for health applications. Before joining RTI-HS, Anna attended the University of Georgia and received her BBA in economics with a minor in environmental law and an informatics certificate in May of 2021. During her time at UGA, she participated in individual research, for which she estimated the economic impact of emissions trading systems within the United States, and interned with an economic consulting firm, where she evaluated subscriber retention and tolerance to price changes for firms in the media industry. Anna also worked as a research assistant for a labor economics research team investigating connections between minimum wage and firms' compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
