Amy Barrett, MA, MSPH, is a Director of Patient-Centered Outcomes Assessment with RTI-HS. She has more than 15 years of health outcomes research experience. Ms. Barrett has expertise in the evaluation, selection, and development of patient-reported outcome (PRO) measures, specifically in the assessment of disease symptoms, physical functioning, and health-related quality of life. She is also skilled at developing evidence dossiers and briefing books to support product labeling based on PRO endpoints consistent with the Food and Drug Administration PRO guidance. Ms. Barrett's experience includes conducting qualitative research with patients and clinicians, including focus groups and cognitive interviews. She also has expertise in conducting literature reviews of PRO instruments by disease and by concept and in evaluating PRO instruments for use in clinical trials and alignment with regulatory guidelines. She offers knowledge in patient-centered outcomes assessment in multiple areas, including oncology and autoimmune, cardiovascular, and metabolic conditions.
