FDA wants to see patient perspectives on the benefits and risks of a new device when manufacturers seek market approval. But manufacturers don’t always know how to collect and use this data in the regulatory process. The Medical Device Innovation Consortium (MDIC) is partnering with experts such Brett Hauber, PhD, Senior Economist and VP, Health Preference Assessment at RTI-HS to create the guidance they need.
